Product Detail-
The masala comes in a unique stand up packaging with special freshness lock which helps preserve its freshness, aroma and colour for long. It's a blend of whole spices lightly roasted and powdered. Used specifically for biryani's, the masala powder adds not only flavour but the faint aroma that's required in a perfect biryani. Directions Of Use-
Ingredients Required: 250g Chicken or Cut mixed vegetables (Potato, Cauliflower, Carrot, Beans, Green Peas), 250g Basmati Rice (soaked for 30 minutes), 1-2 Onions (75g), 1-2 Tomatoes (75g), 3-4 Mint Leaves, 1/2 tbsp Lemon Juice, 4 tbsp Oil, 1/2 tbsp Ginger-Garlic paste, 1 tsp Coriander Powder, 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder, a pinch of Turmeric Powder, 1 1/4 tsp Salt.
1. In a deep pan, heat the oil and fry chopped onions till golden brown. Add chopped tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, red chilli, turmeric, salt and cook on low flame till oil separates.
2. Add the chicken (or cut veggies) with 1 cup water an 2 tbsp (16 g) of Knorr Chef's Biryani Masala. Cover with lid and cook on low flame for 20 mins or till done. Sprinkle mint leaves on top.
3. Boil rice in 750 ml water with 2 tbsp oil and lemon juice. Cook till rice is nearly done. Drain excess water. Spread rice over cooked chicken (or vegetables). Cover the pan with a heavy lid and cook on low flame for 5-10 mins. Serve Hot
