 Today we are going to teach you how to make Aloo Paneer Kofta

Description: A North Indian snack type cuisine used as starter. Needs approx. 25 minutes to prepare and 25 minutes to cook (total time taken: approx. 50 minutes). Can serve 14 to 16 koftas.

 Ingredients: Measured in 250 ml cup

Cheese / Paneer: 200 gms (grated)

Aloo/ potato: 3 Nos (boiled, peeled and grated)

Milk powder / Khova / almond flour: 1.5 tbsp

Pepper powder: ½ teaspoon

Red chilli powder: ¼ teaspoon

Punjai garam masala powder: ½ teaspoon

Corriander leaves: 1 tablespoon (chopped)

Corn flour: 2 tablespoon

Mixed dry fruits: 3 tablespoon

Oil for frying

Chat masala (If needed)

Rock salt / Sendha Namak (as per Taste)


Leave alone the dry fruits and mix all the other ingredients. Add salt to taste as required. Make a medium size ball of the mixture and flatten. Place the dry fruits in the middle and cover the corners to send the dry fruits inside. Seal the kofta well. Prepare all the koftas and keep them ready for frying. Take a frying pan and add oil as required for frying. Fry the stuffed koftas till they turn golden brown. Place them on paper tissue to drain the oil. You can serve this preparation with green chutney or sweet chutney. Sprinkle chat masala if needed. (To start with, fry a kofta to check. If it breaks while frying, add some more corn flour.
